Terms and policies
Terms of purchase
Terms for purchasing a pricing analysis from ProfitLens. They apply between you as the customer and Ad Vitam Invest AB (trading as ProfitLens Consulting). By using the service or completing a purchase you accept these terms.
Last updated: 2026-10-14
1. What you are buying
An analysis is an automated pricing analysis of data you upload yourself. The delivery consists of a report with quantified findings, presentation material you may use internally, and the ability to ask questions about the results in the system's chat.
The analysis is performed by an automated system. No individual consultant reviews your analysis manually. The method behind the system is developed and quality assured by the team behind it.
2. Price, VAT and payment
All prices on this website are shown excluding VAT. VAT is added at the rate applicable in your country at the time of purchase — for buyers in Sweden, 25%. The exact VAT rate and the total amount are always shown before you confirm the purchase.
For sales to a business in another EU country holding a valid VAT number, the reverse charge mechanism applies and no VAT is charged. You are responsible for the accuracy of the VAT number provided.
Payment is made in advance in the currency stated at checkout. The credit is activated once payment is completed.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and provides customer service and handles refunds. Payment, invoicing, VAT and refunds are handled by Paddle in accordance with Paddle's checkout buyer terms (https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms).
3. Credits and validity
A purchase grants one or more credits. One credit equals one completed analysis and is consumed when the analysis is started.
Credits are valid for twelve (12) months from the date of purchase. Unused credits expire thereafter without refund. Credits cannot be transferred to another company.
4. Money-back guarantee and right of withdrawal
If you are not satisfied with the analysis we refund the purchase price. The request is sent by email within thirty (30) days of delivery and must state the company name and a short description of why the result fell short. The guarantee applies to one analysis per company.
The guarantee applies to all customers, regardless of company form. It replaces and extends any right of withdrawal that may apply to distance contracts, so that sole traders and one-person businesses always have thirty days to get their money back.
Because the service is digital and delivered immediately, delivery begins as soon as you start the analysis. The money-back guarantee still applies in full.
Refunds are processed by Paddle. You can request a refund at paddle.net or contact us at hello@profitlensconsulting.com and we will help you on your way. See our refund policy for details.
5. Optional add-ons
Executive presentation and consultant-led workshops are optional add-ons offered subject to capacity. Add-ons are confirmed separately by email and are not part of the standard delivery. Travel costs are added if on-site attendance is requested.
The money-back guarantee does not cover consulting work performed as an add-on.
6. Your obligations
You are responsible for having the right to upload the data you provide and for it not containing more personal data than necessary. Customer names may be masked, provided the same customer carries the same masked name throughout the file.
The quality of the analysis depends on the quality of the data. The system runs quality checks and stops an analysis where the data does not support conclusions.
You must not use the service for unlawful purposes, fraud or spam, must not infringe intellectual property rights, and must not interfere with the security or function of the service – for example by distributing malware, probing or testing vulnerabilities, or collecting content by automated means.
7. AI, interpretation and accuracy
Every number in the analysis – findings, potential and calculations – is produced deterministically in versioned code, without AI. AI is used only as assistance in a few steps: suggesting data adjustments, interpreting number formats, the in-app help guide, interviews and drafting presentation text.
AI-generated text may contain errors. Such text constitutes suggestions and hypotheses, not verified conclusions, and should be treated as a starting point for your own assessment. We do not warrant that automatically generated content is complete or free of error.
The analysis is based solely on the data you upload. We check the data and stop the analysis where it does not hold, but we cannot verify that your data is accurate or complete. Conclusions following from incorrect or incomplete source data are your responsibility.
8. Data security and processing in AI services
We use encryption in transit and at rest and access controls per account and analysis. Uploaded client files are stored in Azure Blob Storage in Sweden Central (Sweden); transcripts, analysis results, reports and presentation content are stored in Azure Database for PostgreSQL in North Europe (Ireland). Text AI, interview AI, transcription and, if selected by the respondent, voice processing use Azure OpenAI within the EU Data Zone. Inference may take place in different EU member states, not exclusively in Sweden.
The complete file is never sent for AI inference. You can choose Standard, Limited (default) or No AI on data for the data-assistance steps. Identifying sample values are pseudonymised before AI processing; free-text interview answers may contain information supplied by the respondent. Microsoft does not use prompts and responses to train foundation models. Security and abuse-monitoring processing is governed by Microsoft’s applicable terms; we do not promise zero retention by the provider.
No transmission over the internet and no storage can be made absolutely secure. We therefore give no guarantee against unauthorised access and are not liable for incidents caused by your own handling – for example sharing links you create, accounts you grant access to, selecting a less restrictive AI level than the default, or information you choose to enter into free-text fields and interview answers.
You are responsible for not uploading special categories of personal data under Article 9 GDPR or information subject to particular confidentiality obligations. If such data is uploaded regardless, this is done at your own risk. Our processing of personal data is otherwise governed by the privacy notice and the data processing agreement.
9. Limitation of liability
We take responsibility for the service working as described and for handling your data in accordance with these terms. Remaining risk is allocated as set out below, which is a condition of the price level.
The analysis is decision support. It is not legal, tax, financial or other professional advice, and it does not replace your own commercial judgement. Decisions you make on the basis of the analysis – price changes, customer conversations, contract renegotiations – are made at your own responsibility.
ProfitLens' aggregate liability is in all circumstances limited to the amount paid for the analysis concerned. We are not liable for indirect damage, loss of profit, lost business, loss of data, reputational harm or other consequential loss.
The service is provided without any guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not liable for interruptions, delays or faults caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including faults at subprocessors, network operators, the payment provider or AI providers.
Claims must be made in writing within twelve (12) months of delivery of the analysis to which the claim relates.
These limitations do not apply in case of intent or gross negligence, or where mandatory law provides otherwise. Your primary remedy in case of dissatisfaction is the money-back guarantee in section 4.
10. Intellectual property and confidentiality
You retain all rights to the data you upload and receive full rights to use the delivered report and presentation material internally within your group.
ProfitLens retains all rights to method, models, software and codified knowledge. We do not use your data to train models or for other customers' analyses.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the service in the event of material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. We will notify you in advance where reasonably possible.
You may stop using the service at any time.
12. Governing law and disputes
Swedish law applies. Disputes are settled by Swedish general courts with Stockholm District Court as the court of first instance, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
